The Canadian dollar is the highest it has ever been in ten years. One U.S. dollar is equal to $1.31 Canadian. Ouch! I get pain in American and that really hurts. There was a time I made $1.54 Canadian for every U.S. dollar I got paid. In fact, it has become cheaper for me to buy some items from the U.S. and ship it to me here in Canada than it is for me to buy it at a local store. My goals so far in the new place is to:
- set up the kitchen around a science theme
- figure out how I can possible cram everything I own into one little 2.54 x 2.82 m room (I think my stuff might end up in various places around the house)
- eventually get rid of the tables with that yucky fake gold plating on the legs
- get my video game marquees on display
